Coronado Springs runs a convention centre alongside a family resort, so half the guests are working and the other half are managing children around a lake that takes twenty minutes to walk around. Gran Destino Tower is a long way from the Casitas and Ranchos on foot.

How the handoff works
Delivery goes to the Gran Destino Tower bell desk. During large conventions the desk queues in the evening, so we deliver in the morning window whenever the booking allows.
The resort's internal bus loop is slow at peak; the lakeside path is 0.9 miles round and often faster with a stroller than waiting.
Details worth knowing
- Ranchos buildings sit furthest from the tower and have the most exposed, shadeless walkways.
- Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios buses both stop at four internal stops before leaving the resort — factor in the extra ten minutes.
- The Dig Site pool area has flat, wide paths and shaded stroller parking.
