Port Orleans covers two connected resorts — French Quarter and Riverside — along the Sassagoula River, with a boat to Disney Springs and a riverside walking path that is one of the nicest evening strolls on property. Riverside's Alligator Bayou buildings are a long way from the food court.

Tell us which side you are on when you book: French Quarter deliveries go to the Mint lobby bell desk, Riverside deliveries to the Sassagoula Steamboat Company lobby.
The riverboat to Disney Springs takes strollers folded, and the paved riverwalk between the two resorts is about 0.6 miles.
Details worth knowing
- Alligator Bayou has the longest internal walks and the most tree-root-textured paths at Riverside.
- Buses stop at multiple internal points at Riverside before leaving, adding time to park mornings.
- The riverwalk is lit at night and works well for a settling-down push after a park day.
Typical rental length
Five to nine days, with a high share of families adding a car seat for driving to the Disney Springs area and off-property dining.
