Best stroller rental companies in Orlando: how to compare your options

There is no single company that is right for every family. The best option is the one that delivers to your exact accommodation, has the stroller size you need free on your dates, and quotes a total price including delivery, pickup and taxes.

Our own service covers Orlando, Kissimmee, Lake Buena Vista, Celebration, Winter Park, International Drive and Orlando International Airport, with free delivery in most zones and 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM handoffs, seven days a week.

• Staying at a Disney or Universal hotel: choose a company that hands off at bell services so you do not have to wait in the room.
• Arriving late or flying in with an infant: choose a company that meets you at MCO baggage claim.
• Two children under 5: book a double early — doubles sell out first on holiday dates.
• Trips of 4 days or more: off-site delivery rental usually costs less than renting inside the parks each morning.

• Delivery area: confirm your hotel, resort or vacation home is covered, and whether that zone carries a fee.
• Handoff method: bell services, in-person meeting, or airport baggage claim.
• Fleet: single and double models, current-generation frames, weight limits and recline.
• Total price: rental tier, delivery, pickup, taxes, deposit hold and any cleaning or damage fees.
• Support: hours you can reach a human, and whether a faulty unit is swapped same day.
• Cancellation: how many days ahead a full refund applies.

Prices are usually tiered by rental length rather than charged per day, so a week costs far less than seven single days. Our own rates start at $60 for 1–3 days on a single and $93 for a full week, with doubles at $90 and $140 for the same tiers.

Renting inside Walt Disney World costs $15 per day for a single and $31 per day for a double, and those strollers cannot leave the park. Universal Orlando in-park rental is $18 and $28. For a 6-day trip that is roughly $90–$186 in-park versus $93–$140 delivered.

• Ask for the all-in total, not the advertised daily rate.
• Check whether delivery and pickup are both included.
• Check whether a deposit is a charge or an authorization hold.
• Longer rentals often waive outer-zone delivery fees — ours are waived at 10 days or more.

For a Disney-focused trip, prioritise two things: a stroller under the park limit of 31 inches wide and 52 inches long, and a delivery process your resort will accept. Disney Resort hotels take gear at bell services, so a company that tags the stroller under your surname saves you waiting around on arrival day.

Wagons are not permitted inside any of the four Walt Disney World parks, so a folding stroller is the only reliable choice. If you use buses, the monorail or the Skyliner daily, pick a one-hand-fold single rather than a heavier all-terrain frame.

Universal Orlando applies the same 31-inch width limit and requires strollers to be folded on shuttles. If you are staying at Cabana Bay, Aventura, Portofino Bay or a nearby I-Drive hotel, confirm the company delivers directly to that property and understand the hotel's package and pickup procedure.

Families splitting time between Universal and Disney benefit most from an off-site rental, because an in-park stroller cannot travel between resorts, to CityWalk or to Disney Springs.

• Bring your own if your child is attached to it, you need it through the airport, or you already travel with a compact model.
• Rent if you are flying, need a double only for this trip, want the stroller waiting at your hotel, or do not want to risk gate-check damage.
• Gate-checked strollers are free on most US carriers, but damage happens and there is no same-day replacement on vacation.
• For trips of 3 days or more, delivered rental usually wins on convenience and often on cost.

• Single: 23–24.5 inches wide, 18–23 lb, folds one-handed, best for one child under 4.
• Double: 29.5–30 inches wide, 26–33 lb, roughly double the basket space, best for two children under 5.
• One napper plus one walker still usually justifies a double — the second seat carries bags and becomes a nap platform.
• Both sizes sit under the 31-inch Disney and Universal width limit.

• Disney Resort and Universal hotels: bell-services handoff, no need to be in the room.
• Vacation homes in Kissimmee, Celebration, Davenport and ChampionsGate: someone on site or a gate/garage code.
• Orlando International Airport: baggage claim on Level 2, Terminal A, B or C, with about 60 minutes' notice after you land.
• Pickup happens on departure day in the same 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM window.

• Lightweight travel stroller: older babies and toddlers, easy folding, shorter outings.
• Full-size stroller: younger children, 10-hour park days, naps, more storage.
• Double stroller: two young children, twins, or a toddler and preschooler together.
• All-in-one car seat: required by Florida law for children through age 5 in any car or rideshare.

• Delivery to your exact address, including resort and vacation-home rules.
• How and when the stroller is collected.
• Manufacturer weight limit for your child.
• Basket size — it matters more than seat count on a park day.
• Canopy coverage for Orlando sun and afternoon rain.

• Book 7–14 days out normally, and 30 days out for spring break, Thanksgiving and late December.
